Mackenzie Wilson
Mackenzie Wilson is a Senior here at UMSL studying Marketing. She has been writing and editing for The Current for 3 years now. Her hobbies include reading, hanging out with friends, and any outdoor activities!

Lauren Johns
Lauren Johns is attending UMSL to obtain her digital marketing certificate after graduating with a BFA in graphic design from Missouri State University. She loves writing music articles and hosting podcasts on the UMSL radio station. In her free time, she's an avid runner and hiker. She hopes to continue to write articles focused on music and potentially contribute some graphics as well.
Erica Patton
Erica is a Senior here at UMSL studying Communication. She transferred here after obtaining her associate's degree from Saint Charles Community College in 2022. When she's not writing articles, she loves going to local coffee shops, attending pilates classes, and listening to Yot Club. She hopes to expand her writing skills into whatever career she ends up in.

Harjas Singh
Harjas Singh is a Junior here at UMSL studying Finance with a minor in Information System. His role has been taking photos for articles and helping graphic design posters/ website updates. His hobbies include playing sports, graphic designing, cars, and hanging out with family/friends.

Aliena Abernathy
Aliena is a transfer student at UMSL perusing a degree in English along with a writing certificate. When not writing her next article, she can be found enjoying a movie at a local cinema or drafting a short story. Aliena also participates in UMSL Radio where she plays film scores and heads video production.

Jonathan Stokes
Jonathan became a Triton in 2023 to complete a degree in Strategic Communications. He plans to work in public relations after graduation. In his free time, he enjoys live music, eating at restaurants, or spending time with his perfect dog.

Mikayla Alexander is a Junior here at UMSL majoring in Communication with a minor in English. She hopes to learn as much as possible about professional writing and publication, so that she may continue working in that field after graduation. Her free time consists of playing Baldur's Gate 3, crocheting, spending time with friends, or reading.
